Benue Cultural Week

Celebrating Our Heritage. Connecting Our People. Showcasing Our Opportunities.
Part of the Benue Cultural Carnival
About Benue Cultural Week
Benue Cultural Week is a major cultural showcase within the Benue Cultural Carnival, designed to celebrate the rich heritage, ethnic diversity, indigenous knowledge, and economic potential of all 23 Local Government Areas of Benue State.
The initiative will provide a structured platform for each LGA to showcase its unique identity through indigenous languages, traditional attire, music, dance, arts, crafts, festivals, customs, historical landmarks, and other expressions of its cultural heritage.
Beyond cultural celebration, Benue Cultural Week will connect heritage with economic development by creating opportunities for local governments, traditional institutions, artisans, entrepreneurs, farmers, tourism operators, and investors to present products, services, investment prospects, and community development initiatives.
The programme seeks to strengthen unity among the people of Benue State, preserve cultural traditions for future generations, promote domestic and international tourism, and position the state as a destination for cultural experiences, creative enterprise, and investment.
