About the Event

The Benue Fashion Show is a premier fashion showcase within the Benue Cultural Carnival, celebrating the richness of indigenous textiles, traditional attire, contemporary African fashion, and the creativity of emerging designers across Benue State.

The event will bring together fashion designers, models, textile producers, stylists, artisans, fashion entrepreneurs, and industry professionals to showcase collections inspired by Benue’s cultural heritage and the evolving African fashion industry.

From traditional Tiv, Idoma, Igede, and other indigenous styles to modern designs that blend heritage with contemporary trends, the fashion show will provide a platform for local talents to gain visibility, connect with industry stakeholders, attract business opportunities, and promote Benue’s fashion industry to wider audiences.

The initiative also aims to encourage youth participation, support indigenous textile craftsmanship, create opportunities for fashion entrepreneurship, and position Benue State as a destination for cultural fashion and creative innovation.
